Outpatient Mental Health Clinician

Finding Solace Counseling, LLC provides supportive, trauma informed treatment and counseling to children, adolescents and families who are struggling to manage their day-to-day lives. Their struggle may be social, emotional or behavioral and they may feel lost or out of control. We develop strategies and assist with skill building to help clients find relief and to live a more satisfying and comfortable life.
Scope and Function:
The Outpatient Mental Health Clinician provides therapy and related clinical services to children, adolescents, adults and families in our Amesbury office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Implements and maintains the philosophy, principles, and procedures of Finding Solace Counseling, LLC in all facets of performance.
• Provide services and conducts self in a manner consistent with the profession’s Code of Ethics.
• Assesses or provides therapy, counseling, intervention and/or education to clients in a professional manner.
• Provides clinically appropriate treatment based on mental health assessment and treatment plans.
• Completes timely and accurate documentation, including, but not limited to, biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, clinical notes and correspondence.
• Assures continuous reimbursable sessions for assigned clients.
• Maintains professional licensure and certifications as required.
• Participates in planned supervision and case consultation conferences.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) required for role:
• Planning, time management and strong organizational skills.
• Management of work processes along with strong computer skills for documentation purposes.
• Ability to maintain confidential information within HIPAA guidelines and organizational policies.
• Ability to be flexible especially with scheduling and to perform and prioritize multiple functions and tasks.
• Strong written and exceptional verbal communication
• Ability to work with a high degree of professionalism, respect for clients, integrity and trust.
Education/Experience Requirements:
• Master's degree in Mental Health, Counseling, Social Work or Psychology with a minimum of two years' experience.
• Massachusetts LICSW, LMFT, LMHC or PsyD is required.
• Acceptable CORI check required.
